Medical Review

Use your hospitalist experience to review inpatient cases and clinical documentation. Assess the reasoning, identify missing context, and explain findings using established clinical standards.

The Opportunity

This selected track is specifically for senior hospitalists, not a general opening for every healthcare background. Its preferred qualifications include an MD or DO with at least ten years of attending-level hospitalist experience, alongside experience in clinical quality, documentation review, medical auditing, or quality assurance. The work draws on judgment developed through inpatient practice.

For example, a case review might reveal that a conclusion is not supported by the available record or that important clinical context is missing from the documentation. A useful contribution identifies the gap, explains its significance, and supports the assessment with the relevant clinical standards. Assignments can also involve improving review guidelines and resolving ambiguous cases with the project team.

The focus is on careful, consistent review and clear explanations of clinical reasoning. You receive the assignment scope and review criteria before contributing. These project-based reviews support model training and quality evaluation; they do not establish a patient-care relationship or guarantee a continuing schedule of work.

How the Projects Work

Projects use inpatient case reviews and expert clinical reasoning to train and evaluate AI systems. This is project-based evaluation work, not patient care. Credential and location eligibility are confirmed during selection.
